Carroll County Emergency Preparedness Expo

Saturday, Sept. 26

10 am-2 pm

Carroll County Career & Technology Center

 

 

Call for help:

 

The EMCOMM Amateurs of Carroll County will host an exhibit at the Expo.  The
plan is to demonstrate Winlink (email-over-radio) and NBEMS data
communications.  

 

Your attendance (bring the family.the Expo is a family affair) and your
assistance in operating the stations will be greatly appreciated.  Set-up is
at 9:30 and on the air by 10.  

 

We will operate from Dave KB3QMO's trailer, which will be parked near the CC
Community Media Center.  Look for the trailer and the antennas.   This is an
opportunity to get comfortable with Winlink and NBEMS operations.  The NBEMS
activities will use newly reconfigured Health Dept. POD kits.

 

If you can help for a few minutes or a few hours, please let me know ASAP.
