Great to hear from you, Bill. Drive up and give us a hand at the Gamber
FD site. We need more CW operators.

I sometimes think I have a pipeline into ILL- Wis hi hi. I'am however able to work up and down the East coast off the ends.. BTW I can't take credit for the homebrew Moxon..a friend of mine here in Chesapeake had made it using tubing from two old lawn chairs believe it or not....I had to adjust the driven element a bit to get it to tune on 6M.

> Hi Curt, I heard that opening to the west coast here in FM07. It started about 12:50 EDST when I heard CA, AZ and OR. I had a meeting that I had to leave for at 1:00 PM so I couldn't wait around to work them. About 19:00 I was hearing AZ and the upper Midwest so the band is still open. Good luck in working DX on six. I did pick up a new country this morning ZF1EJ on Cayman Is. Not too far away but a new one anyway. Yesterday at 19:45 UTC I worked XV9NPS on 15m CW my first Vietnam ever. Good luck with Field Day. Look for us using W4DO on most bands though we're having trouble finding people to operate. So far only about nine are signed up to operate out of a club of 100+. Too many Tech's that only want to operate 2m and complain that not enough are on the band!

Interesting picture on dxmaps.com, clearly showing how the E-layer clouds (at least two of them) must line up specifically to bring the signals here. Maybe I missed an opening earlier? Maybe we will get some Eu propagation still.
