I just threw out my thoughts based on Curt's comments about using a north/south line for the antennas pointing west (for more contacts). Whatever works best for all parties is fine with me. I will be at W3LPL's open house On Saturday and we could talk about it there OR agree to meet at Gamber that afternoon about 3:30 to talk it over at the site. Talking this over and having a plan is always better than just showing up on FD Saturday and doing what you want. Mike F

(we have about 20 dB variation in noise depending upon rig around this estimate). Yes this confirms what I heard when we had 2 or 3 stations on 15 or 20m at the same time.

We can legislate this by using the club's dunestar filters as tokens or some friendly method of alerting to band changes.

I realize 2 stations may be in RV's -- still we should aim to group them -- as they will all be on different bands from each other. Yes I can still hear the crackle of each others transmissions that we wish to minimize -- 20 and 15m are the most likely bands for annoying transmitted noise.

This may not be the best lineup for us but we need to think about it before we start unloading and stick to a plan and not change on the fly.

The straight line arrangement will reduce coupling. 20m and 15m are our critical bands in this regard.
