[K3PZN-List] Current (2015) Carroll County Zoning for Permanent Amateur Radio Towers

Amateur radio towers aren't "communications towers" under the zoning code. If it's not in the code it's not prohibited.

I'm guessing you don't have an HOA - they can be a real pain to deal with, but there are ways to bolster your bargaining position (look up the Maryland Right to Dry Act).

I put up a 43' vertical (no tower yet, unfortunately) without a problem. No permits and no HOA.
