Pat,

I would also be interested in this.  I have had a Pi for a few years
and tinkered with it a little bit.  I don't know if you remember the
awning control that I presented a few years back at a club meeting
(that was on Arduino).  I have ported to a Raspberry Pi this past
summer.  Along with logging weather information to a MySQL database
(on a separate machine).  I also had purchased some sensors to use to
tinker around with making an automated model car with my son.

I can do the week of Jan 4, 18, Feb 1 (basically every other week)
except Tuesdays.
