To all members:

I'D LIKE TO HOLD an informal gathering in January with Mike and other CCARC club members who are working on getting their Raspberry Pi single board computer up and running - as well as those who have it humming nicely with an application or two to demonstrate.  You are invited!  We will meet at the Panera Bread place in Sykesville-Eldersburg, and then any follow up in Finksburg later if we wish, based on interest.

For me, the best times will be after January 7, on a weekday eve (a Monday or Friday) or a Saturday morning.

Thoughts, anyone?  Please send positive responses to the k3pzn-list.

P.S. I will bring an HDMI monitor, USB keyboard and mouse, for those who do not want to lug those things around, but you will need to have with you your Raspberry Pi in a plastic case, a two-ampere (minimum) power supply with cable, a micro-SD card no larger than 32GB and a USB WiFi dongle.  There's time to gather any compatible devices you need (from Adafruit.com<http://www.adafruit.com> or equivalent, see below) in time for our tech gathering if you order soon.
