I am on their mailing list and see the price.  What is the difference between this one and the Allied version that is cheaper?

MicroCenter is running a $5 off special on their Pi 2s.  You can pick up to ten for $29.99 each.  I have 4 reserved to turn into a Hadoop cluster - since that's what I like to do with them.  See Pat's info on using them for satellite work.  This deal is good through Saturday.  I find the Joppa Road location in Towson (just outside the beltway) to be the handiest for me.
