[K3PZN-List] HAMNET software and networking

Does anyone in the area know if there is a HAMNET (HSMM-MESH) system setup and in use in the Westminster area?

Its kinda neat and what several of us in the area did some 20+ years ago when we were operating TCP-IP on the 2 mtr band. The concept is simple enough and you get 54Mb/s connections which we could never have achieved on a normal 2mtr channel. 


Anyone interested.. I live in the Finksburg area so we would have to be pretty close.. Oh by the way this IS hamradio.. its a shared band and to use the higher power and larger antennas you need to be a ham (they are not permitted for part 15 usage presumably)
