The sun was good to Hams over the weekend, even for those of us with a vertical in the back yard and no fancy amplifier.  I must say it’s harder now to crack a pileup with this setup than it was when I had a 100-foot tower and a TH-6 on top!

There was some noise on the lower bands, which reduced contacts on 80 meters, though I got several nice ones.  I don’t have a 160 meter antenna, so I don’t know what would have happened there.
