I was trying to remember what antenna I was using with my K2 last year - maybe indeed it was the Eagle .... ok its a 31 foot tall vertical -- essentially what I use at home for 40m! I don't remember what bands I was working - maybe I was on 15m - the K2 does have an excellent antenna tuner (better than my FT950). ok -- we should use this 'existing antenna'! maybe a couple radial wires will add to what the RV provides perhaps.
I did add a USB-keying device for sending CW from my laptop. I don't have a nice headset (for SSB) - I just use a PC headset -- but its on my to do list to rewire my K2 to be Yaesu compatible.

all sorts of ideals. I have rigged up one of the 6x6's to with another
eagle one vertical I have made both ssb and cw contacts using it. Actually
pretty cool looking when deployed.
