[K3PZN-List] Reminder - Armed Forces Day Cross-Band This Weekend

Especially cool to those newer hams who have never worked WAR, AIR, NAV and the like.  I sure hope I can find WAR on CW, as WAR DE WB8YYY is so cool!  Note most activity will be voice, although some digital might show up.  


Note as you tune around outside the ham bands (make sure you transmit only INSIDE our bands) you might also find a Pirate broadcaster or two, so don't be too shocked if Commander Bunny or some other wacko is out there.  


Armed Forces Day Cross Band test is this weekend. Here is a list
of the stations that will be operated  for those that are interested. If
you make contact with the stations they will send a QSL card to verify the
contact. You can usually locate them just outside the upper and lower limits of
the ham bands and can contact them operating split. Each station will tell you
the frequency to transmit on.
