[K3PZN-List] Armed Services Day Cross-Band

Although the actual Armed Forces Day is celebrated on Saturday, May 18, 
2013, the AFD Military/Amateur Cross-band Communications Test will be 
conducted 11 May 2013 to prevent conflict with the Dayton Hamvention 
(17-19 May 2013), which is the same weekend as the actual Armed Forces 
Day.

To those unfamiliar with this activity, Mil stations transmit on their own authorized frequencies and listen for hams transmitting within our authorized frequencies.  Its an annual opportunity to work stations such as WAR, AIR, NAV and others.  Note some ops may only have military training so be patient with their procedures, and join the fun.
