[K3PZN-List] March Meeting Wrap-Up

We had our third consecutive meeting with excellent member attendance - wow we are on a roll!

We were blessed by an excellent presentation by one of the most renown (and expert!) suppliers of assembled RF coax to radio amateurs, none other than N3VOP himself.  Mike brought his tools and raw materials, and invited us to watch and learn how it is done!  To watch such high craftsmanship in action one would need to travel to someplace like Williamsburg (ok they did not have use for coax in colonial times but those folk might be up to Mike's workmanship).  


Mike even showed us a key method to improve the integrity of those joints to the coax outside sleeve to the PL-259.  (Hint - if you weren't there, I will share the secret ONLY if you provide a helpful suggestion that I can pass to our new President AK3Z for consideration at a future club meeting).  Please, no one post his technique to the list.
