Dear CCARC field day enthusiasts,
 
I had a great time at field day 2013, and I want to thank Curt WB8YYY and John AK3Z for their field day leadership, time and attention getting the event to be such a success.
As a former field day leader, I DO realize how much effort goes into the planning and execution of a fun and successful field day.
 
The emphasis at CCARC field day has always been on FUN, and I had about as much fun at this field day as I can remember.  
 
Though they probably won't see this message, we owe Tom Flater and the entire Gamber and community fire company our thanks for continuing to support us  year after year 
by lending us an RF quiet, perfect field day site with view straight DOWN in most directions.  
 
It was nice seeing a group of CCARCers that I haven't seen in awhile, with special guests Clint W3ARS and Steve NY3A visiting.
 
For those of you that didn't hear, we had a recently relocated young man Paul, WX5USA who really had a great time at our field day site, along with Troy and Joelle, my friends in from
West Virginia to do a little Father/Daughter operating.
 
Thanks again to Curt, John and everyone who made field day a great experience!
