sometimes anyway .... 


wow - using an interesting rig I built that uses mostly tiny SMT parts .... it has a stable PTO, and outputs 4 watts.  pushing the button just a few times on its built-in keyer -- I worked A71CM -- very cool!  


no I won't stop running higher power, but nifty when a few watts does the trick on 20m.  


hope everything is having some fun with the ions.
