Well, I didn't make it to any FD site this year. I didn't feel well & we had family things going on.
 
I did make one QRP CW 1E FD QSO before I went to bed.
 
But, this past week we went to Canaan Valley, WV. We had 9 families, My YFs three brothers and one of their children's families and our two children and their families. needless to say the cousins had a wonderful time playing & running around the camp grounds, swimming pool etc.
 
The oldest generation went on nature hikes. When I could I found time in the AM to make a radio contact a day. I was using my MFJ 9040 running about 4 watts to my vacation 40 meter dipole up in the trees about 15 - 20 feet.

I ended up having three good QSOs on the 24, 25, & 26th, managed to touch W9A, they came back with my call KE3FL/8 but that was all they were able to pick up of my transmissions & they moved on. I've got to get back on the air more regularly, it was fun.
