I see that WI3N et al put together their FD report in powerpoint (so perhaps his need for video of our FD no longer applies).
See link below. (let's consider what we have that could be added to our website. oh yes I owe a short report at the August meeting - but maybe someone else would enjoy presenting some pictures and/or video? hint - I wonder if anyone reads what is posted to the reflector?)
I did notice some uncanny locations (too bad he did not visit the crew at Security Square Mall), none of which I would favor (well unless it would rain all weekend maybe).
Also, I see the vitality of a nice big sign -- it looks like one was posted well before FD perhaps.
Of course they would have taken similar pictures of our site, except for the late time on their journey. Still very cool to see part of the ham radio operations across our state.
73 Curt ... traffic from WI3N follows ... one must appreciate their enthusiasm
Field Day found SEC Jim Montgomery, WB3KAS, ASM Wanda Montgomery,
KA3AHI, and myself traveling around the section visiting Field Day
Sites. We traveled around six hundred miles and managed to visit about
15 sites. As usual it was a fantastic time seeing all the different
setups, antenna systems and talking with great people.
Jim Montgomery, WB3KAS, put together a PPT of our journey which you can
