Andy,

I believe I can help out either testing or acting as net control. I'll let you know if I cannot help after I check our calendar at home. I'll try to remember to confirm if I can help out after I check.

The health department has received and staged medial distribution pods
at locations around the county. These would be used in the event that
medicine needed to be distributed to a large population. Each of these
pods has a amateur station as part of the unit. In order to complete the
requirements to certify that the pods are ready to go the radio gear
needs to be checked.

We've made arrangements to do this on Saturday 1 December between 9AM -
12PM.

The goals of this test are:
1. Locate and gain access to the equipment.
2. Inventory the equipment (basic model only).
3. Set up the station.
4. Determine if something is obviously missing or needed to accomplish
above.
5. Check in on the repeater with the results.
6. Pack the equipment back up and put it away.

The locations are:
- Winter's Mill HS
- North Carroll MS
- Parr's Ridge ES
- North West Middle
- Century HS
- Carroll Community Coll

We will need a number of volunteers that morning to make this happen
that morning. I'd like to make 2 person teams and have them cover 1 or
two locations each. The locations are spread around the county so there
is likely a location close to home. With 2 people my best guess is that
you'd in in and out in under an hour.

We'll also need someone to act as NCS and take the reports (can be done
from home).

Please email me if you are available to help out. If you know someone
not on the list who might like to help out pass this along.

WO3L Andy
