[K3PZN-List] Plasma cloud to hit Earth tomorrow morning

Radio Aurora is being reported in Europe per Fred K3ZO (on PVRC reflector) so he says to look for it this evening.

I find Aurora to sound cool on VHF CW - literally there is no tone, just a raspy sound.  Also tuning around I once found a clear SSB signal from a different direction - which Fred told me is 'Auroral E'

What we get is all TBD.  But I am at work, so not experiencing any of the bands right now.

Subject: [K3PZN-List] Plasma cloud to hit Earth tomorrow morning

The plasma cloud from yesterdays X5.4 solar flare is predicted to hit the earth tomorrow morning.  Here is a good simulation showing the predicted impact:

I've found this site to be an excellent source of up-to-date information on solar activities:

    www.solarham.com

Kevin, VE3EN, runs the site and is an active 6-meter operator.  He is constantly looking for aurora prospects and sporadic-E openings.  There should be plenty of aurora coming.

Another site I check often is:
