FYI - if anyone has considered a portable QRP CW rig - here is a decent offer.  its an alternative to pricier Elecraft K1/KX1 for those thinking they might use a rig out somewhere.  FYI.

Subject: [QRP-L] Last Call for Weber Dual Bander

End of the line sale. I am going to discontinue the Weber Dual Band CW
Transceiver. I have 20 of these kits left, and when they are gone there
will not be any more. So, I am reducing the price from $225 to $175 plus
shipping and handling. The transceiver comes in a punched, brushed aluminum
case (unpainted), has a digital dial, and comes on any two bands from 15 -
80 Meters. It was designed by Steve Weber, KD1JV. To order, go to
www.qrpkits.com, click on the picture of the Weber Dual Bander to go to the
order page. Obviously the kits are kitted and ready to go. Shipment is by
Priority Mail, both US and DX.

The manual for the kit is online so you can see what the kit is.  All parts
are included, this is a complete kit and I will continue to support it, but
am not going to kit up any more, moving in a different direction.  Thank
you for the bandwidth.  Doug, KI6DS
