Subject: [K3PZN-List] FD Technical Help - CW Automation
I am sensing we may have enough participants for a 4th HF rig, and we have enough antennas. We can decide tomorrow!
I am supplying one PC that is capable of sending CW from a serial port. Might we have another available? If so I could try to assemble a suitable cable.
Here is what I am thinking for 'night shift' operation' - subject for all of us to figure out:
rig 1 -- SSB 20m -- Ray/Kerri's station --work band until it closes (yes I have the beam ready)
rig 2 -- CW 40m --- Pete, Bill, Pete (k3)
rig 3 -- digital modes 20m -- Bob (also may assign 10m SSB if it opens)
rig 4 -- 80m CW and SSB -- myself and others
Mike N3VOP was lurking around the FD site this evening -- he is committed to work in the morning.
73 Curt
