[K3PZN-List] Organizing FD Operators

I am available basically all of Saturday.  I have committed to the scouts to be there from 14:00 - 18:00 to provide sign off for any scouts that show up and participate.  Right now I have 6 scouts that have confirmed their intention to show up.  Most probably closer to 14:00.  I expect a few more to just show up as well.

As far as my operating, I can operate when no scouts are present, and 'give up my seat' when there are some present.

Depending on how things go, I may stay later than 18:00, and/or try to come back Sunday morning. Is there a preference?

Subject: [K3PZN-List] Organizing FD Operators

While it is the responsibility of each captain to man the rigs, I sense we may not have a clear picture on who is doing what.  I suggest we schedule our rig's operators especially thru prime time on Saturday - and insuring we get everyone available into the action somewhere.

On Pete's rig - 40/15m CW and possibly also covering 40m SSB:
Bill N3WM is covering early evening after dinner
Prior to dinner, Pete and I could do some CW and also defer to some SSB
Also interested in who else would like to operate some CW ?
This is the station I am most involved with myself - I will check in with Pete to see what I need to bring other    than its 40m dipole.

Ray/Kerri's rig -- 20/15m SSB
We have two operators in place there!
As this might be our path to 20m CW, maybe, might need to interject a CW op somewhere

We have visiting Scouts + Eric to get onto the air on SSB -- I suggest we split the scouts between Ray/Kerri's rig and perhaps our third HF rig ....

Mike's HF rig -- digital and maybe (?) SSB.
I don't know who is supporting Mike in operating this?
I don't know what bands it will cover

Mike's VHF rig -- ?

I have one ham who wishes to help set up and operate - N3DRA.  Last year John put together 80m SSB.  I am not sure we need a fourth HF rig based upon perceived operators thus far, so can we integrate John into one of 3 HF stations to emerge (he does not do much CW ....)

I am bringing a 40m dipole (Pete's station) plus a triband beam (Ray/Kerri's station).  I have other stuff available as a back-up as needed.  I presume each of captains is bringing PC's (or using one from the club).
