I had high hopes for this year's SKN but after the 100th birthday for my mother-in-law and having to take care of three grand children because my daughter went out for News Years while her old parents had to stay home with her three little ones, we were exhausted.

I sat down on the recliner, BIG mistake, and quickly fell asleep. Beckie woke me up around 10PM when she wanted to watch a movie. We managed to get in bed before the ball dropped & I was out like a light once again. We woke up earlier than normal to get not only ourselves but also the three grand children ready for church. We are normally at church for three services, Beckie is the music director and needs to be there for all three. The Men have a breakfast during the first service and I am either on the praise team or choir, sometimes both, for the second service. Then I rush out to do backups for my wife's office and then rush back to pick her up by noon to go home for lunch, and a nap if we're lucky. This weekend I did her backups and upgrades on Friday but I had to sing in the 11AM service choir this Sunday anyway.

I may have time today, Monday for a little HF radio but my daughter wants me to help take the children swimming, so probably not.

No rest for the weary!
