CCARC Meeting November 12, 2012

  Andy Leeds, WO3L, called the meeting to order at 7:34 PM. 12   
members and 2 guests in attendance.
Holiday party Dec. 9th!  Meal suggestions are being accepted now until  
the first of December.
Committees:
Treasury ?
October treasurer report given by Pete Morton.
Income:  Hamfest,dues, etc.
Expenses:  Bank charge, Hamfest grand prize.
Need to coordinate dates with other hamfests in the future.
DCS ?
Thank you to all for help during Hurricane Sandy!
Dec. 1st Health dept. grant for point of distribution containers for  
emergencies.  Task requested is to go and test the comms equipment and  
inventory the supplies.
Drill on Nov. 13, 8:30 PM.
Repeaters ?
UHF machine back in service in low power ? 18W.
145.410 repeater deaf due to de-sense.
Sykesville shutting down randomly.  Andy to get a replacement controller.
Topic of the night:  Elecraft KX3 portable radio
