CCARC Meeting Minutes August 8, 2011

  Andy, WO3L called the meeting to order at 7:33 PM. 12  members and 0  
guests in attendance.
Committees:
Treasury ? Pete Morton
Tailgate to income - $1140
228 attendees.
DCS ?
No report this time.
Repeaters ?
After the storm the SWR shot up on the Westminster repeater.
Packet/BBS crashed.  Antenna transferred to the 2M repeater.
Sykesville ? intermittent controller problem.  Time permitting over  
the holidays, Andy and gang will investigate and attempt repairs.

Hurricane response -
Chuck, N3TOT ?   Jim Weed would like the bunker manned if the EOC is  
activated.  We manned for the full duration of the hurricane.  Many  
worked double shifts ? need more volunteers!
At 6 pm, 19 checked in:  18 VHF/UHF, 1 HF.  At 8pm and later no one  
checked in.
Discussion:
Locations for volunteers?
If you check in, be prepared to offer your services.
Another VHF antenna is needed.
The Motorola radio needs to be replaced.
Heil headsets will be ordered for the EOC use.
After Event, reports should be forwarded to Chuck, NSTOT.
