Yeah they never seemed to go for stuffed chicken or anything quasi-elegant!  (maybe next time).  Even to the point of misspelling Poole road (too elegant huh? - actually one of those founding families in Carroll?)  


But a nice deal and good time nonetheless.  

Found TU2T on 17m tonite -- got him on one call -- my little R5 vertical is my 17m antenna.  not power or skill, but merely where he was listening!

Greetings To All:

We will have our annual Christmas dinner again this year, Sunday, 
December 11th.  It will be held at the VFW located on Pool Road. They 
will start serving 5 pm so you may want to plan to arrive a little earlier.

Menu:
Roast Beef and Ham
Mashed Potatoes
Tossed Salad
Corn
Desert
Ice Tea and Coffee

Cost to members and guest is a flat rate of $10 each. There will be 
prizes and a good time so we hope to see everyone again this year.

This is a good opportunity to pay dues since many expire December 31st.
