Maybe he means the grease with the ground up copper in it so it's electrically conductive?
My tiny tube of silicon heat sink compound has 276-1372 on it. It's still a good number!

I just checked Radio Shack's web site and did a search for "thermal 
compound."  Four items popped up with two listed as "web only."
