  I hope everyone is enjoying Mother's Day. Just a reminder that the May 
meeting is tomorrow evening 9 May 2011. We will have a presentation on 
NTS message handling, field day discussions, and a quick overview of the 
budget that will be finalized in June.

Also, work continues on our new repeaters. With a bunch of help from 
various people we now have a rack full of equipment and a number of our 
interface cables built up. I plan to be working on it further Saturday 
May 14th from 1100 - 1600 and possibly some on Sunday afternoon. There 
is work to be done for all skill levels and I encourage anyone with even 
a little interest to let me know and we'll make good use of your 
contributions. Upcoming work includes:
      1. Complete the interface cables
      2. Audio level adjustments in the controller
      3. QA on soldering and cabling done so far (2nd set of eyes never 
hurts)
      4. Documentation writing & Diagram drawing

After this work session we'll have a break, then hopefully get back to 
work on 4 June.
