Thanks Scott. I found a local store today and picked up a used P4. All set-up and working well. Yes my old machine is a Dell with valid sticker. Not sure what I'm going to do with it yet. I'll keep those OEM disks in mind or stay on the lookout for a source to pick them up....if the machine doesn't turn into a Linux box!
