I have a bite for an 80m SSB captain.  He also mentioned a second op he can bring.  
 
I contacted N3DRA, John who is interested in putting together an 80m station.  In the past he has done FD with NY3A someplace north of the Mason Dixon line.  He can supply the rig, but I sense he could use help with an 80m antenna if one can be had.  In the past someone had brought a Carolina Windom to FD (N3SB or ??).  
 
FD is a great opportunity to get less-active folk involved!  I hope they emerge at our FD site, members and non-members (often they are members elsewhere which is also ok).

I will post info on 40/15m CW by week's end.  If we could get someone to build a 6m quad or moxon (that after FD could go into their own home station) that could be basis for our VHF station (yes the IC-756 at K3PZN will do just fine on 6m).

PS - I'll likely need some clues from Joe Tracey on those 10 messages I signed up for!  I'll gladly check into a 80m or 2m phone net (hopefully with someone else in tow who also wants to participate in traffic handling.  Who knows maybe we can even get WX3B to do a different style of operating this year for a transmission or two ??

Thanks to a lively field day meeting, we have identified several key new leaders and our team is shaping up nicely.

Friday evening setup (06/24/11) will begin for most of us after work at 6:00pm - subject to the grounds being available.  For those that do not get set up, we will resume at approximately 9:00am Saturday June 25.
