Particularly for someone trying to learn electrical theory I definitely suggest
you read some of the articles by WB0BEM. If you have ARRL membership, go to the
ARRL Periodicals Archive and do a search on this callsign. I suggest starting
with the 1974 article 'Current Electricity.' Note this material on electricity
and electronics has NOT changed. The writing style is very interesting,
technically accurate - and you may be surprised by her gender. In addition to
firing up the rig this winter - do a little reading.

If anyone is building anything - post a note to the list. After getting my
regen receiver working, I am building an AGC amplifier for use in a homebrew
superhet (it was published in QST as Hybrid Cascode).
