Made me think about the Fountains of the Bellagio.  I bet with a little salt added to the water a nice vertical log periodic could be made, and would be easily tunable across the spectrum.  [See the YouTube video:  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c-Sm0hQn8c0&feature=fvst]
