[K3PZN-List] Reminder - CCARC Meeting Tonite

Just like folk drive all kinds of different cars on the same roads - it is also
that way with rigs.

Nifty when someone puts a different rig on the bands - something that seems
counter-culture, but actually it it fits the current technology (otherwise it
would not be ....).

The SDR-Cube to me looks like someone shrunk a Ten Tec Jupiter, and allowed it
to be manufactured in your own home (or not ... is also an option to get the
boards already assembled a al K3 style).

Even if you, like me already have enough (or too many) rigs - tonite's speaker
is worth hearing.  Glad that ham radio has progressed from rigs made from TV set
parts to 'software defined' within my lifetime.  I would not even debate which
is better - it is all 'radio.'

Hope to C U tonite.  Curt

PS - let's work together for an exciting, diverse set of meetings in 2011.  Your
ideas are needed !
