Phil - if you email me the cvs file that would be great (I'll see if I can get it on the club website). I picked up a new 2m/70cm rig for the shack and I've been procrastinating on programming anything other than .41 and .875 in it. Both Larry and I are usually on 53.09 ~1600-1700 most work days, also I've been keeping 145.41 on more in the house sice we had the de-sense issue and I can come up on 6 or 10 FM for a check.

Unless I'm mistaken we don't have anything planned for the Feb 2011 club meeting yet... So how about radio programming and power pole nite?

We'll need a list of who can program what. I can do Yeasu FT-857 and Kenwood TM-V71.

Subject: [K3PZN-List] FT-8900r Memory File

Larry,

I've gotten my "http://www.g4hfq.co.uk - FT-8900r Memory Management Software" up & running on one PC & have loaded my local frequency list. I've checked out 2 & 0.70 m & the radio is working there. I'd like to check out 6 & 10m soon but that may not happen till the weekend when I actually have some time. (Or Tuesday if we get snowed in ;-)

The file you sent, extension "FT8900" is not recognized by my software so if you can export it as a CVS file I'll try again. Once I get it working I'll export it as an 89r file, file which my software uses, and a CVS file in the form needed by my software as well.

It would by my recommendation to add these files up on our CARET web site so all our folks can have them. Perhaps best would be both CVS files since these will be readable by anyone and then could be used to program any radio even if it had to be done by hand.
