10 meters is usually dead here by 1900...mostly no use firing it up after work.
As the sun comes up at 0730, the signals get stronger after that time on both sides
of the pond. I played on 10 on the morning of Black Friday.

Just a reminder that the ARRL 10M Contest is this weekend. A good 
opportunity to get on the air and (hopefully) work a lot of states and 
countries in a short time. The contest runs 0000UTC Sat - 2359UTC Sun 
(7PM ET Friday - 7PM ET Sunday) and for the exchange is signal report 
(59) and state (MD), dx stations outside Canada and Mexico send a serial 
number.
