Sorry Andy, but I didn't participate in the event, nor did I have an HT on during the hurricane.  You have me mistaken for another operator...N3GQK

It looks like sometime overnite Sat-Sun something happened to the 145.41 antenna or feedline. Larry and I went up to the site Sunday 11AM and found serious desense on the machine. The wattmeter said 73W out and 7W reflected at the duplexer antenna port which when you factor in 2dB of feedline (remember the SWR calculation from last month's meeting?) loss shows an SWR >3:1. Shutting off the repeater transmitter while N3GQK talked on a HT showed good receive performance on the antenna.

After considering our options for a few moments Larry and I shut off the packet BBS (it was actually already crashed) and are now using its lower antenna for transmit on .41. Receive coverage seems to be roughtly unchanged and on the transmit side the coverage is slightly less with a little more noticable flutter on the fringe.

I checked the Sykesville machine today on the way to work and it appears offline.... I'll command it back on tonight when I get home from work and see if that fixes it (or if one of the other control ops is in the area today feel free to try the enable command).

Andy
