[K3PZN-List] MT-63 Test, and ARES Resource Net Activation plans

Folks;

Saturday afternoon we'll conduct an MT-63 Test Net on the 145.410  
repeater. We haven't checked the new repeater system to see how well  
it works with MT-63, so this will be a good opportunity. Andy WO3L  
will be Net Control.

Starting at 2:00 PM, we'll activate the ARES Resource Net on 145.410  
MHz. This coincides with the projected start of increased winds in our  
area from Hurricane Irene. The Resource Net will activate every hour  
to accept check-ins and to handle any minor issues. We will begin  
Tactical and Traffic nets on 145.410 when necessary. If traffic  
becomes heavy we'll start using the 449.875 repeater system.

All hams in Carroll County are encouraged to monitor the 145.410  
repeater system, and are welcome to check into the nets.
