[K3PZN-List] Is this a good first Radio?

I purchased one of these HT's at Dayton this year.  I have had no problems with it and can hit the repeater from Taylorsville.  As for programming; that can be done pretty easily using the free software that you can get off the mfg'r website.  My total bill for the radio and all of the gingerbread was +/-$130.  Overall I think it's a nice, affordable rig, even though manual programming (on-the-fly) takes a little getting used to, but isnt that the norm for most new toys??...
