CCARC Meeting July 11, 2011

  Andy Leeds, WO3L, called the meeting to order at 7:32 PM. 15   
members and 2 guests in attendance.

ARES/RACES ? Chuck N3TOT
Eldersburg shopping ctr Aug. 2nd National Night Out ? Invited to  
participate with a table for 3hrs in the evening.
Aug. 27th ? County Emergency Expo at Lowes Home Improvement.  County  
Emergency Manager, Jim Weed, is looking forward to our participation.
Current ideas are:  Baptist Southern Convention trailer/Winnebago,  
W3ICF tower trailer and Salvatio Army Team Emergency Radio Network  
(SATERN).
We will need chatter on VHF/UHF.
Need ?Wow? ideas.

Repeaters ?
WO3L completed install of new repeaters.  Pictures for all to see.
Codes for linking available to members.  Please leave the repeater  
linking as you found them.  If you find them linked and you don't need  
it, please drop the link.  They will reset overnight.
Sykesville, 147.285, random shutdown problem ? we may have enough  
parts to make repairs.  Could be the diplexer.  It may be linked to  
the Westminster repeater in the future.
