I'm offering the following item for sale:

 

Kenwood TS-700SP 144 MHz / 2 Meter All-Mode Transceiver.

This is the sought after 'SP' version of the Kenwood classic TS-700 that
includes a digital frequency display and VOX.

Operating modes are: SSB (USB & LSB), CW, AM, and FM.
RF output power: 10 W

The power connector has both AC and DC wiring. The DC power cable is
terminated in Anderson Powerpole connectors (ARES standard configuration).

Also included at no extra charge is the Service Manual (from W7FG) which
includes fold-out, full-size schematics.

I used this transceiver in my home station for weak signal work and
contesting. It was working great when last used on the air 2 years ago. The
unit is in good cosmetic condition. Please e-mail me at w3stu at arrl.net for
photos. The lamp on the MHz switch is burnt out but this does not affect the
operation of the unit in any way.

 

Asking price $240 OBO. Buyer to pick up transceiver at my home in Hampstead,
MD.

 

I'm hoping to sell this to a local ham. If there's no interest locally by
October 3rd, I will auction the unit on eBay.
