Interesting - since your employer is connected to Hallicrafters (Northrop bought
them a few decades ago (before they were NG), and our Rolling Meadows facility
was the Hallicrafters factory!) you just might have to purchase it. Bill is in
a 'weakened' state since he just brought a big box home, and I have my hands
full (and the shelf too) with a new large rig I just obtained. A little on its

sounds like you need a course in ancient radio manufacturers! A Collins might
be worth the ebay fees and shipping - a Hallicrafters someone might drive a
couple hours for if we listed it someplace, and this one is higher end than
their SWL receivers.
