We are launching a very small UHF radio payload on a balloon from near
Westminster, MD and we are literally looking for amateurs to assist with
tracking it.  So I am trying to spread the word, particularly to amateurs with
nice UHF listening posts (such as many who do ATV!).  While we track the payload
from the launch site using a UHF FM HT (the transmitter has some FM content ...)
and an Arrow Beam -- having others at different locations involved in the
tracking will provide additional info.  Literally our last launch the payload
appeared to travel out of our range.

Our launch is at 11 am on Sunday October 24, when flight coordination on K3PZN
repeater 145.410 will begin (you will not need a PL tone).  Our payload will
transmit telemetry on 433.92 MHz +/- 80 kHz with out 10 mW output.  Still we
expect it to be trackable for some distance during its flight, which most likely
will be to the East or Northeast (we will have a good idea of its path at time
of launch).  Further information is available here:

You are welcome to spread the word to other prospective trackers -- we literally
want to know how far this payload will go on its flight!  Feel free to contact
Pat N8PK direct on this mission.
