Joe -
very cool! I think Pat should award certificates (maybe at the Christmas party)
to those of you who kept track of this thing flying around and radiating RF
(whether you translated to CW or not). I was very impressed with the activity I
heard on the repeater.
Yeah Stu had a big part in that also - tracking that thing to Aberdeen at about
1000 feet altitude.
We also need a re-cap on the SDR building at FD, as one of our members built
one.
A lot of diverse exchange (talk and participation) makes an interesting club.
We are also blessed with a bunch of 'younger' hams!
And you might be amused that I did a little SSB in CQWW - I was gone most of the
weekend, but had a new rig and antenna to try out. One of the contacted
stations on 15m was in Sudan! My rate on 15m was decent with my little signal,
but 40m was work (especially when working split).

Hi Pat;
As you know I do not do CW, however, I can read some, if your ballon was
sending HI HI I read that and could read some of other data but no much, on the
first launch I read on .975 Hz, on the second launch I read on .975 from 1320
until 1345 when I turned it off. Hope this helps you, I listened from my back
porch and from my livingroom here on Goni Terrace.
