please a concise report.  I felt it fantastic to hear so many folk having fun 
with this as I listened on the repeater.  And I want to hear a bit of the 
story.  But keep in mind we are a club of DIVERSE INTERESTS (which we want to 
cultivate!).  Since we tend to get lots of updates on simsat, concise makes 
sense.  


I suggest that we hear the presentation from our invited speaker (Stu) BEFORE 
your update (and that will also help us manage the time).  


Club:  

It is VITALLY important that we introduce our upcoming meeting on the 
reflector!  Many of us drive 'several miles' to the meeting (across 'carroll 
county roads' and after already driving a bunch too and from work).  So as we 
continue making our meetings 'worth driving to' let's PROMOTE them.  


After hearing this presentation I might wish that I had less antennas ....

PS - as radio amateurs we do tend to have antennas.  please consider coming to 
this worthwhile meeting next monday, as lightening happens.  I sense that Stu 
will provide us all some practical suggestions (that may even be affordable .... 
less than cost of the house, and maybe less than some of our antennas?).

Hi all,

I hope to attend our monthly meeting and see 
you this coming Monday night.  I would be glad 
to offer some highlights of the CarrollSat-2 
high-altitude balloon flight.  But even more 
so, I'd love to hear stories from others who 
attended, copied or supported the mission, like 
from Steve Beckman N3SB, Matt Smith AB3JU, 
Stu Benner W3STU, Curt Milton WB8YYY and 
others.  

There was A LOT OF DRAMA leading up to the 
success that came only very late in our 
hamfest.  Everyone has their own 
interesting story to tell!  

I have lots of photos to share on screen, 
then or at a later meeting.  

Also, all are invited to the CarrollSat-2 
Debrief and Lessons Learn Meeting to be held 
later this month, likely in the Eldersburg 
Public Library conference room, TBD.  

The web page will be updated with some 
results after I have some time to work on 
it.  All the more reason to attend our 
next club meeting.
