Tom

good point!

first we need to get onto the ARRL 'map' - this will allow anyone browsing for a FD to visit to find us.

if you are someone could make a single webpage to add to our club website that could serve its purpose. and there is some content at the ARRL site that can be referenced.

I am in discussion with Tony on seeking to set up a demonstration communication link (hopefully with one or more other FD sites) which can illustrate what else we can do with radio communications.

very important that each of us personally invite others - with so few bands available folk can get the idea they aren't needed. we need a site loaded with active participants during prime time, as well as a steady crew overnight.

we have had press representatives in the past - been a little while since we had a government official. N3WM has invited one of the commissioners whom he knows well.

things are coming together .... it's looking like our 2 'sleepy' FD's are being transformed - hopefully we can have > 20 participants.

Do we have a CCARC webpage we could direct people to for details about
our own local FD activities? I have a Carroll County Commissioner
interested and it would be handy to just forward a link.
