[K3PZN-List] Field Day DATES: June 26 & June 27

Dear Keith and field day enthusiasts,

Field day is shaping up very nicely, and I am pleased to announce that we have station captains for just about every band assignment at this time!

Field day is held the last full weekend of June, and this year it is Saturday June 26th and Sunday June 27th.  

Field day setup usually starts Friday afternoon after 2:00pm, however I need to get confirmation that we have access to the Gamber, MD grounds on Friday.

Our station captain assignments include:

	NY3A:  CW #1:  20m & 80m
	WB8YYY: CW #2 40m  & 15m
	W3ARS :  75m SSB
	K1RH:  20m SSB
	WX3B: 40m SSB
	WO3L:  GOTA station, offers computer network for consolidated log (optional)
	N3VOP:  VHF
	K3KWO:  Digital
	W3JJH:    15m (and 10m!) SSB and Natural Power Bonus

Our field day leader this year is Bill, W2EGL and he is also in charge of the press, publicity, and perhaps an information booth (that was just dropped on him with this email!).

Food service will not compete with the W3MDC days, however station captains will supply some drinks and snacks, while an informal BBQ is planned for Saturday night, with 'pot luck' to be picked up by someone for Sunday breakfast!

NY3A, WX3B, K3KWO and K1RH all  have generator power available this year, and we are S-P-R-E-A-D-I-N-G our operation out to take advantage of the 800+ feet from the SSB stations to the digital (and GOTA) station, leaving CW stations in the middle.

So far, here's a list of rumored participants in field day:

ii.	K3TDH, K3RCH and the triplets Matthew Nicholas and Douglas
iii.	KB3PNU, Tom (part  time – not Sunday)

....And folks I have overheard saying they're interested in operating...(please contact the station captain directly to arrange an "official" time

a.	CW #2 (40m/15m)
i.	N3WM – throughout the weekend

b.	40m SSB
i.	N3YIM – 40m SSB – Saturday evening/Sunday morning

c.	Digital 
i.	K3CAV – Digital – Saturday Nighttime
