Matt,

I understand your pain.  I tried to get a decent logging program going  
on my Linux netbook.  I'm now using HamLog on an iPad instead for  
portable operation.

While cqrlog has been my best Linux logging experience, it wasn't a  
good one.  If I were still trying to make a go of Linux in my shack,  
I'd see if I could get WriteLog to run under Wine or under XP on a  
virtual machine (I've had good luck with Sun's, now Oracle's, Virtual  
Box).
