Some alternative QRP/solar is a nifty presence for visitors - and fun.  I would love to see WX3B running a few stations with 5 watts ... maybe we can drag Phil out to do these.  It would be nifty to make more than 5 contacts ....

K3PZN equipment should be available as no one that I know of has mentioned using any yet - check with Andy.  Usually the TS-850 is used for CW, but I sense we have rigs already for CW.  

I would think your rig-to-PC hardware interface should work on Windows - but maybe it is not RS-232 based??  Now that I think about it, for hunt-and-pounce a band-map is NICE and one does need a rig interface for that (dugh on my part).  

Maybe my landing 10m SSB in your lap might earn me a few minutes of operating time .... 

We do have a lot of new ops in the CCARC so very important to recruit and plug them in.  I suspect our chair will do a roll-call in due time.  I can pretty much guess who will want to do CW already - and its a healthy list.

Of course, I'll be able to provide a solar array and a QRP rig (most  
likely a K2) for the bonus QSOs.  If some CW wizard would like to come  
by the 15 m phone station at the start of FD and knock out the five  
contacts, I'd be happy to have the rig ready.  Otherwise, I'll just do  
the first five SSB contacts QRP.  Manual logging should not be too  
much of a burden for these few QSOs.
