[K3PZN-List] FD Log Census

I really want to see one piece of software so we get 1 log and a
cohesive dupe check. I dislike spending 5 minutes trying to work someone
only to have them tell me I'm a dupe because someone else worked him on
that band/mode. Also if he works you and doesn't tell you now we've
taken credit for a dupe contact.
Since the only strong pre-disposition we've heard is N1MM,lets just go
with it. The networking isn't that big of a deal and I can't see a
logical reason why you wouldn't want that feature (someone else might
know something I don't here...) once you've installed the s/w. It gives
us the ability to change band and mode on the fly during the contest per
band conditions without causing any problems with the logs.
I'm off until Tuesday so I'll install N1MM and get up to speed on
configuration and the network setup on it. Once I have that worked out
I'll try and get it installed in the club station before the meeting. We
can then have pre/post meeting N1MM playtime so everyone who wants to
can get familiar with it.
