Great to see a large crowd tonite - I realize we are all busy folk - but tonite was something special.  

Thanks Mike N3VOP for a very cool presentation - how a little bit of metal up in a tree led to lots of DX on 50 MHz including his memorable contact to VP6.  I hope to cross an ocean myself someday on 6 meters -- my most memorable 'amazing' QSO was working P29CC on 28 MHz SSB from my car -- 25 watts into a CB mag mount.  

Matt AB3JU showed me the dual band 144/432 MHz Yagi he designed using NEC software and built using simple materials - wow very nice.  He mentioned taking it to Timonium and of course it outplayed the shorter boom yagi's used in the AMSAT demo.  

Great to see many folk again.  And to ride home with Terry KB3TVC.
